Allie Sirrine

Position: Scholars Program Coordinator

Allie Sirrine manages the application and selection process for the Scholars Program with New Futures. She also works closely with the programs team to make sure that programming events such as workshops, orientation and scholars weekend run smoothly for all scholars. Allie has years of experience working with workforce development and education programs for nonprofits. Before joining New Futures, she was a Program Associate with Opportunity@Work, where she worked with the organization’s Learn and Earn Pilot Programs that provided financial assistance to low-income students pursuing technical training. Prior to Opportunity@Work, she was a Program Officer with the National Institute of Work and Learning for FHI 360. In that role she provided extensive financial and programmatic grant management for multiple programs, including the Department of Labor Reentry Grant for Young Adults as well as the international Bridge to Employment Program. Allie has a B.A. in International Relations from American University and loves living in and giving back to the D.C. community.
