Jamila Williams

Position: Career Pathways Program Manager

Jamila serves as New Futures’ Career Pathways Program Manager.  As a Marymount University graduate and a former teen parent, Jamila understands the importance of educational attainment in building stronger futures for our children. She graduated with a B.A. in Fashion Merchandising in May 2015 and became passionate about giving back to her community. Jamila is an alumna of Generation Hope and worked there as a Program Coordinator, providing intensive case management and career readiness workshops to teen parents in the Washington, DC region. She is passionate about helping underserved youth exceed academically, financially, and continues to help even more underserved youth meet their unmatched potential. When not serving her community, Jamila loves to sight-see real estate properties with her husband, play catch with her son and learn the latest dance moves from her daughter.
