Gabi serves as the Scholars Program Advisor and works directly with scholars supporting them with academic and career advising. She also works closely with the programs team for programmatic support. Before New Futures Gabi worked as an advisor at The Washington Center. During her time at TWC, she worked with over 1000 both domestic and international students making sure to tailor each student’s experience to their specific needs and expectations. Originally from Colombia, Gabi is passionate about education equality and mental health access. On her time off she volunteers at Crisis Text Line leading texters from a hot moment to a cool one.
