Natasha Rodriguez
Board Member
Natasha Rodriguez is a travel addict, educator, social justice advocate, diversity and inclusion practitioner, life-long learner, and your average everyday hardworking mom. She was born and raised in Washington, DC where she has spent her entire educational career as well as professional career. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social and Cultural History from the University of Maryland College Park along with a dual master’s degree in elementary education and special education.
Natasha has worked in a variety of sectors such as non-profits, public schools, and higher education institutions. Over the past four years she has served as the Assistant Director for Multicultural Training and Programming at University of Maryland Global Campus, where she oversees the Office of Diversity and Equity programming and training. As a certified diversity professional and trained workshop facilitator, she has provided a number of impactful trainings- both stateside and overseas -to promote inclusive behaviors in the workplace.
Natasha’s life mission is to travel the world, promote cultural competency and make impactful connections with people that lead to positive change. She strongly believes that the more we intentionally seek to understand those that we perceive to be different from us, the better we can become as world class citizens.
